💊 Supplements: There are a ton of supplements out there, some even target autism specifically. A majority of these powder, mix in supplements are not FDA approved. They are not scientifically proven, nor have they been adequately tested in a lab. There's no level of certainty as to what's actually in these supplements. Often times there are reports of a placebo effect, sometimes there's no change, and sometimes there's adverse reactions. If you are attempting the use of these things, please do so under the close supervision of a medical professional. We have to be very careful adding things like vitamins, supplements, flax seed, essential oils, and all the various diets. Any of these things can be harmful and potentially deadly if you do not know and understand your child's levels and have close medical supervision.

💮 CBD: This can be a natural plant based medicine; however, it's not FDA approved. There has not been enough studies done for the usage by toddlers and young children to know whether CBD hinders or helps with brain development.

🚫Elimination Diets: Currently there is no scientific backing or proof that eliminating gluten, sugar, or dyes can help. If this is something you plan to pursue, please ensure you are doing so under the supervision of a medical provider who is aware of the changes and understands the signs and risks of doing so.

⚠️Detox: This is an extremely dangerous practice that can lead to death. There is no telling what is in the chemicals used to detox your child. There's no proof that this method improves a child's behaviors, speech, or sleep. There is no cure for Autism! Your best chance at helping your child is with therapy which has proven results. No matter what you remove from or add to your child's diet, therapy IS the BEST, the most PROVEN way to help your child!!
